Gary Heatherington - Short Biography
When listening to Gary’s albums, you may discover you have heard his music before. Gary’s first single was "Northern Town". This was a 4 track 45rpm mini album produced for Acclaim Records by Soundhouse Studio’s, Liverpool.
Gary is the former lead singer and songwriter with Liverpool band Two Way Street, who were signed to MCA records and published by Carlin Music in the early nineties. Their first single was "Big Shot" from the album "Grow your own Planet". With "Two Way Street", Gary supported David Bowie’s "Sound and Vision Tour" and also went on to support Paul Young playing leading venues throughout the UK and Europe.
Two Way Street did several Radio One Sessions for the BBC, they also played live on GLR and GMR, as well as sessions for local radio stations in the UK.
Gary played the part of Paul Simon as a member of the excellent tribute band The Sounds of Simon and Garfunkel. Once again he toured the UK and Europe with the Abba tribute band Bjorn Again.
Through Carlin's production library, Gary’s music has been used in TV and film. When the Carlin library music CD was first sent out to the TV and film companies it was only a few weeks before his material was used. The first TV use being a documentary on Naturist’s. One section of the programme featured a naked sky diving team floating down to earth accompanied by the strains of Gary’s music.
The Carlin library music is often used on US Television Programmes such as Oprah and was on the final episode of Friends, along with being used in Canada, Asia, UK and Europe. His work is diverse, from Accepelo, Ballads, Acoustic Pop, Rock, R&B and Rap.
Gary Heatherington writes and sings songs that are easy to listen too, and his latest album "Suburban Window’s" is intended to promote material for use by other bands and singers.

Gary is one of my favorite singer songwriters ever -- and he still writes and sounds amazing! Gary needs to be household name!
